Customers that received a free carburetor to replace the OS carb: In the package there was a 2nd o-ring. This o-ring is used at the bottom of the carburetor housing and replaces the aluminum washer that comes stock with the OS carb. The o-ring will produce a better seal. (When installing the carb please push all the way down the carb should fit flush with the crank case. With pressure holding the carburetor down tighten the carburetor retainer)
When tightening the servo arm please be sure to use a thin 10mm open wrench on the slide and a 1/2 inch open wrench on the nut. This will ensure you don't scratch or mar the hard anodized finish on the slide.

KME Carburetor is a free flowing carb and is slightly different than the OS carb. You must keep your fuel line closed at all times, and do not open fuel line until your engine is ready to start.
Here is a good simple tip to follow to help you start your engine without flooding and give you better readings on your engine.
Place your Glow Ignitor and your Starter on the heli. Once in place then open your fuel line and start your engine.
Starting your engine every time like this really helps the life of your engine. This procedure will ensure you do not get Hydro Lock and cause any rod problems in the future.
Break-in:
Main Needle: 1.25 turns out from the Closed Position, run 2 tanks of fuel through the engine. (Head speed 1800)
Idle Needle: 3/4 turn out from Closed Position. When leaning the idle needle please do so in small increments.
Break in will help all the bushings, Ring and tight tolerances to seat properly. This procedure will add longer life to your KME engine.

Idle Needle: 3/4 turn out from Closed Position. When leaning the idle needle please do so in small increments.
After Flight: KME recommends after your flight to (Manually with the engine off and no glow plug igniter installed and all fuel removed from your fuel tank) Turn the Throttle to the Full Open Position and then turn the engine over for about 5 seconds with your starter.
This will help get all of the bad smoke and unburnt fuel out of your engine. This will help the life of your engine.

Keep in mind this is a KME .60 size motor and it will smoke more than your .50 size engine.
The KME Engine is a different type of Engine and it will smoke more like a .90 size Engine.
The Diamond .60 Pro is burning more percentage of the fuel delivered to the head. Which will cause it to smoke more without using more fuel.
